Released in the summer of 2009, a noise release from the deamon Instagon. Featuring mostly tracks from "mixer" sets done during the year 2008. Highlights include tracks from both the 2008 Norcal Noisefest, and the Eugene Noisefest (Oregon). Over 23 collaborators make up a sweet selection of sounds and chaos for this release. If you are a fan of the early recordings from Instagon, this one is for YOU...back to the sound of the abyss..Creepy and dark with lots of audio texture for your imagination to play with. Vital Weekly compared it to Throbbing Gristle. Cover art by Lob.

INSTAGON - Live At True Love - CDr - $6
Recorded at the now closed True Love Cafe in Sacramento,CA which was co-owned by Kevin Seconds of Seven Seconds, during the first ever IN THE FLOW Festival. In The Flow was conceived by Ross Hammond & Byron Blackburn as an alternative jazz festival for the Sacramento region. Instagon played in the high heat of the day with sweat pouring from our pores. Chad Williams, Chip Conrad, and horn appearance by Jaroba along with Lob play a set of free jazz improvisation along with some garage jazz Instagon orginals. Really nice recording capturing a rare face of the deamon. This is mostly a jazz recording,that was released to the public at the 2nd In The Flow festival in June 2009. This is the 2nd release in the Instagon Free Jazz Series, and is limited to only 50 copies.

INSTAGON - Deamon Rock (w/bonus disc) - CD+CDR - $10
Released at the start of 2009, this is the first "studio" made output from Instagon in over 10 years. Deamon Rock is the final edited tracks from "Thee Satan Sessions" recorded live in Studio A at KDVS radio in Davis,CA. in the summer of 2007. This is a GARAGE JAZZ / ROCK release from Instagon, leaning heavier on the ROCK side of the fence. It has studio versions of classic tracks like "Forward", "Space Walk", "Spider", "Jazz for Satan", and also newer tunes like "Speed of Light", a shredding cover the B-52's "Rock Lobster" and "Instacabra" the tribal improv freak out exclusive to this session. This disc was released by Auricular Recordings., and is also available on Itunes, Rhapsody, & Napster. But if you order it thru this website we will include an EXCLUSIVE bonus disc featuring outtakes from The Satan Sessions including songs that did not make it on to the Deamon Rock final released format.. This recording was done in early Feb. 2007 at the G3 Lounge in San Francisco (show #437) and features collaboration with Rent Romus and Phillip Everett from Lords of Outland, with Dr. Oblivious on keys, and Lob in the lowend playing wild and wicked jazz interpretations on classic Instagon garage jazz composistions like Jazz for Satan, Spider, and Shut Down by the Germs. This holiday story is about a man, his lonely holiday, and a light bulb...well mostly its about the light bulb. Written and Illustrated by Lob (Instagon) in 1984 and re-issued periodically in small pressings. We have copies of the 11th pressing from 2005, limited to 50 copies. Each hand signed by Lob. This makes for a great stocking stuffer!!

NUX VOMICA - VERTONEN - AUDIOEMETIC - KAWAIIETLY PLEASE
The 2nd release from TIF featuring photography by Lob of Instagon. This time again with the same formula; a project from The SF/Bay Area, one from outside CA., one from Sacramento, and one from SoCal. (in that order). NUX VOMICA present a live recording of thier 2008 Norcal Noisefest appearance in Sacramento...very moody and thought provoking. VERTONEN comes in next with one track with 4 parts of solid power drones and giving just was you come to expect from this Chicago performance artist. AUDIOEMETIC presents 3 tracks that are all filled with solid punches of noise and electronics, but also something else that just seems out of focus and out of reach. KAWIIETLY PLEASE gives us a short blast of sold excruciating power noise high-ended and loud. Its a short track, but actually is pretty long as far as tracks from KP go. This release is limited to 100 copies.

Audio mayhem from this fine grouping of audio wizards. Instagon recorded live in SF in early 2008 at the Luggage Store gallery. DOG terrorizing with audio brutality that Steve Davis has become well known for.. CJ BOROSQUE continues her search for the the sonic blast that will unlesh the deamons that control the world and set fire to the speakers they scream from.. and lastly WYRM returns with guitars and the first track unleashed anywhere from ALLAN ZANE as WYRM in many years time..This is the first CD in a series launched by TIF in late 2008 featuring photography done by LOB of Instagon. The "Audio Roadkill" series features photos of found and discarded music media, mostly CD format. The photo series first appeared as part of a group art showing at Norcal Noisefest in 2007, and since has been part of at least 4 other showings before expanding into the foundation for this CD series from TIF. Limited to 100 copies.

Released in 1997 and limited to 100 copies. This cassette is packaged inside of a rock. Its your mystery to find a way to break it out and get to listen to it. It contains original exclusive tracks from ULTRASOUND (A.Herrick of Nux Vomica), RED EYE (Life Garden side project), CAST IRON SINKS, ARDINGER (pre-Fraud release), EN NIHIL, MOTH, DOC MONK, A.C.S.S., ECKANKORE, AMALTHEA, FIN (Geoff Brandin), ROTORHEAD (Dave Wright/Not Breathing), & INSTAGON (w/members of AA23, fin,& poet R.D.Armstrong). Most of the tracks are noise-based sound experiments, but some of them lean into drone and ambient territories. A really well compiled 60 minutes of sound. This release was limited to 100 copies...we have recently un-earthed a few, these are limited copies of original pressings of this release.

Recorded live at Godwaffle Noisepancakes in San Francisco at the ARTSF location (rip) this show was all Sacramento artists appearing in SF in the summer of 2007. This disc contains the entire show and live performances of "(waning)" in the original duo configuration, Art Lessing & The Flower Vato in a rare really early in the daytime appearance.., Night Nurse vs. Tarantula Princess, featuring Hailey Chase aka MOM performing a collaboration set with the 13 year old Tarantula Princess., Kristal Marimba Lounge on one of his last California appearances before moving to Portland, and lastly the collaboration between Klowd and Leporidae called "His Name Is Robert Paulsen" .. this collaboration has only happened LIVE, has only happened 3 or 4 times, and has not been previously released. (limited to 30 copies)
